Karlos Williams Waived by Buffalo: Top Five Landing Spots for the Running Back
Indianapolis Colts
Frank Gore was one of the many free agents brought in by the Indianapolis Colts last offseason. As one of the best running backs in 49ers history, much was expected of him in Indianapolis.
Gore struggled much of the season, averaging a career-low 3.7 rushing yards per attempt. While he did manage to break the 900 yard mark, much of that was due to quarterback Andrew Luck being out.
Additionally, Gore enters the season at the age of 33, well past his prime and one of the oldest starting backs in the league. Behind him sits former Seahawk Robert Turbin, who has one career rushing touchdown and is facing possible drug charges.

Jordan Todman and rookie Josh Ferguson round-out the options for head coach Chuck Pagano.
With Andrew Luck back from injury, the Colts offense is expected to be rejuvenated. They have options at wide receiver with T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and Phillip Dorsett leading the way.
Adding a running game to balance the offense could be one of the things that helps push Indianapolis over the top as they look to make the playoffs for a 14th time in the last 17 years. They’ve improved record-wise with a healthy Andrew Luck from day one, and Karlos Williams could be the missing puzzle piece in the Colts depth chart.
