Players Who Need A Good Game:

Jeremy Langford (RB)

The Bears did him few favors by not committing to the run early on but even so Langford really didn’t generate much of anything on the ground or in the air. The concussion suffered by Ka’Deem Carey gave him some breathing space as starter but he needs to start showing that he can produce positive plays without perfect blocking every time. Otherwise the team might start thinking that he really was better as a rotational back.

Adrian Amos (S)

His rookie season was effective for the most part, but it’s becoming clear that Bears coaches are growing impatient with Amos. While he does his job when it comes to taking good angles and making tackles, they’ve made it clear that’s not enough for starting safeties in this defense. They want more big players. That means turnovers. Amos didn’t have a single one in 2015 and he’s still without one so far this preseason. At some point there’s a chance his grip on the starting job could start slipping if others on the roster show they can do that.
