Biggest Story Line:

This game is going to be about the Bears offense. Right now the thing that is freshest in the minds of every fan is how totally whipped they looked in the opener against Denver. They seemed unprepared and even disinterested at time. Not the greatest first impression. Expecting it to get any easier against the Patriots would also be foolish. This is a Bill Belichick-coached team that is always good on that side of the ball. If the Bears can’t get it done for the second-straight week, serious questions will begin to come up.

Was promoting Dowell Loggains the right move? Is the offensive line really that bad? Has Jay Cutler regressed? Keep in mind it doesn’t have to be any sort of explosion of yards or points. Just a couple of good drives that end in field goals would be enough to at least show the unit is making progress. Another shutout of the first team offense and that is when the panic will start to ensue that something is seriously wrong.
