Oakland Raiders . 11. player. 28. One of the most hyped up teams of 2016, and for good reason. Reggie McKenzie has done a tremendous job rebuilding the roster for the Oakland Raiders. Now their young core of budding stars like Derek Carr, Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper seem ready to ascend into the stratosphere, taking the organization with them. They finished 7-9 last season, four games better than the one before. So this team is ready to win.
Much of the optimism centers around a slew of big name additions from free agency. Kelechi Osemele arrives to beef up that offensive line. Sean Smith gives them a quality body at cornerback and Bruce Irvin gives them lots of versatility at linebacker. Add in 1st round pick Karl Joseph at safety and this is a unit ready to make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. Can Jack Del Rio get them to that next level? It’s what he was hired for.
. .
