Firing Lovie Smith was a gutsy call by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, especially when it involved replacing him with a former offensive coordinator in Dirk Koetter who has never been a head coach before. Even so this was a clear decision with the intent of making sure Jameis Winston reaches his full potential as their new franchise quarterback.
