There are few worse feelings than an 8-8 record. At least when a team loses they know they’re not good enough and have to make changes to get better. Having the same number of wins and losses makes it difficult to figure out where the problems are. One wrong tweak to the roster could send things spiraling out of control. This is what the Miami Dolphins hired head coach Adam Gase to do. Figure out a way to maximize the roster they have.

That of course starts with quarterback Ryan Tannehill. It has looked like he’s been on the cusp of breaking out with a big year the past two seasons but for one reason or another can’t seem to hit that fifth gear. Gase is a keen offensive mind with a magic touch when it comes to quarterbacks. With the assortment of weapons like Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker and Jordan Cameron in place he might be able to solve the Tannehill puzzle. Here’s hoping a defense and running game that lost two key pieces in Olivier Vernon and Lamar Miller can still play at a high level.
. . . Miami Dolphins . 23. player. 59
