No Draft or Front Office Coverage

The NFL Draft is bigger than ever, and fans want inside access to that event.

To be fair, the “sneak peaks” HBO released covered a bit of the draft regarding Jared Goff and the number one overall pick, but after that we got absolutely nothing. You could practically call the two minutes they provided us “nothing.”

All or Nothing did a great job of getting into the Cardinals draft room and watching them agonize as Ameer Abdullah was drafted by the Detroit Lions while on the phone with them.

While Hard Knocks has not traditionally covered the draft, it would behoove them to cover some of the process in the series premier. You are highlighting a rebuilding franchise, and you don’t feature the key to rebuilding?

While many of the draft picks owned by Los Angeles were traded to the Titans to move up for Goff, the story behind why they drafted two wide receivers, two tight ends, and one linebacker was one we could have heard.

In fact, no other rookie other than Goff or Pharoh Cooper has been featured in the show.

It’s an unfortunate lack of knowledge regarding what your customers want to see, and that’s the NFL Draft.
