Lack of Star Running Back Todd Gurley

Having a lack of Todd Gurley is like having a lack of the Joker in Suicide Squad. You expect to see a main character who is advertised all over, but you are disappointed when the main attraction gets no air time.

After a short 40 second blurb of Gurley and Benny Cunningham driving around LA in a Maserati getting ready to look at houses, it took 40 minutes for HBO to get up close with Todd Gurley, the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Even when they did, he got about five minutes of coverage. Nothing about how he overcame a devastating knee injury while at Georgia, set records at his position, or how he is becoming one of the next big stars in the National Football League.

As I said in the opening, Todd Gurley was one of the most attractive storylines in Hard Knocks this season. The evident lack of him was shocking to say the least.

Hopefully HBO will recognize its’ mistake and bring in more Todd Gurley, because he is one of the few shining lights within that Rams franchise.
