Biggest Story Line:

There are plenty of options here but for this game and who the opponent is, the top story will be how well the offense executes under the watch of new offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. People aren’t sure if he’s up to the task of replacing Adam Gase. Getting his players to perform well against the top ranked Broncos defense, even without Von Miller (who is expected to sit), will be a welcome sign that he at least knows what he’s doing.

Jay Cutler and the starters are expected to play the first quarter. While it’s unlikely they’ll do much passing, there will be a chance to watch how efficiently they move in and out of the huddle, how well the receivers run their routes and whether the offensive line is far along in being able to finish their blocking assignments. Any signs of struggle and it will mean Loggains still has work to do and inevitably the questions will start about his ability to prepare his players.
