Reuniting Hershel with Maggie is a dream come true for many fans of The Walking Dead. Having family by their sides will make them all that much stronger and help them to survive. Hershel also brings some unique talents to the zombie apocalypse, including his skills in medicine and surgeries. Hershel could run the infirmary for the group and patch up the boo-boos of the other survivors and kick some butt with his unlimited ammo shotgun.
