A FanSided crossover special featuring NFL Mocks and Undead Walking, where we draft all your favorite characters from The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is one of the best shows on television these days. They’ve earned 13 Emmy nominations over six seasons, and their combination of cliff hangers and shocking plot twists leave fans dying for more.

Because of that, NFL Mocks teamed up with our FanSided friends at Undead Walking to create one of our biggest projects of the season. Undead Walking the go-to place for everything Walking Dead related.

We combined our passion for mock drafts and The Walking Dead to create our first Walking Dead Mock Draft. Two members of the NFL Mocks staff and four members of Undead Walking teamed up to select seven characters from our favorite postapocalyptic show.

The mock draft was conducted live on Twitter with six teams drafting seven rounds within the same format as the NFL Draft. The characters drafted were picked from a pre-determined list created by the editors of both NFL Mocks and Undead Walking.

Everyone had a blast participating, and the social media draw brought in was extraordinary.

We hope to work with more of our friends within the FanSided entertainment division to bring more mock drafts and relating football topics.
