Los Angeles Rams:  Jared Goff v. Case Keenum

Finding an answer at quarterback was the entire end game for the Los Angeles Rams going into 2016. They have everything else they need to make run. All that’s left is a trigger man to bring it together. That’s why they traded up to the 1st overall pick to grab Cal standout Jared Goff. No doubt it seemed like the right move, especially with them moving back to L.A. The question was how long it would take him to see the field.

Early signs indicate head coach Jeff Fisher plans to make him earn it. The Rams staff has been high on veteran Case Keenum since he was signed last year. He did start five games for them and went 3-2. So it’s not like he can’t get the job done. There is no question the job will eventually belong to Goff. It’s a matter of when. Keenum has a good shot to delay that passing of the torch for an entire season if he plays well enough.

Winner:  Case Keenum
