Eagles Linebacker Nigel Bradham Arrested for Assault
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham turned himself into Miami Beach police Monday after allegedly being involved in the assault of a hotel employee.
Bradham signed a two-year deal with the Eagles over the offseason and was reunited with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
Nigel Bradham played under Schwartz in Buffalo, and is penciled in as one of the Eagles starting outside linebackers. He recorded 42 tackles during 11 starts with Buffalo last season.
NBC Miami laid out the incident at the South Beach hotel where Bradham was allegedly involved.

The verbal argument became physical, with the victim sustaining cuts and lacerations, including one to the back of his head when a glass battle was allegedly smashed over it. The six people then fled the scene, running toward Ocean Drive and entering a vehicle before speeding away. A phone was discovered at the scene, which was turned over to police as evidence along with a receipt showing Bradham paid for the umbrella with his credit card."
An Eagles spokesperson acknowledged their awareness of the situation surrounding Bradham, but provided the generic statement that typically is released during active investigations involving players and other team personnel.
"“We are aware of the incident involving Nigel Bradham in Miami. We have been in contact with Nigel and the proper authorities. Due to the ongoing legal process, the Eagles will have no further comment at this time.”"
The Eagles opened up training camp to rookies, quarterbacks, and select veterans Monday, and are scheduled to have all of their players in camp on Wednesday. Their first full practice is scheduled for Thursday with the Democratic National Convention down the street at the Wells Fargo Center.
