Most of the off-season maneuvering is in the rear view mirror. So the time has come to set up the Chicago Bears’ 2016 chances with their team preview.

By and large the feelings regarding the state of the  franchise remain cautiously optimistic. Memories still linger of the appalling way 2014 ended, but much of that roster has since been replaced. This Bears team is almost a completely different entity with only four projected starters remaining from that team two years ago. It’s a testament to the work put in by the front office to wipe away those ugly stains.

Have they done enough? There’s no way to know that until the action begins this September. The best thing to do until then is to take stock of how things look at present. This team preview will take a complete look at the state of things from top to bottom:  offense, defense, special teams, and coaching staff. Have they improved? Have they regressed? How much did they change?

Once that is done, it will be time to make a calculated prediction about the season to come and how well the team ends up doing. Will playoff banners be flying or is another difficult year on the way? Stay tuned to find out.
