Impact Freshmen

The interesting thing about Baylor’s recruiting class is that currently it’s 15 deep as far as personnel goes. The group as a whole lost a number of key players as mentioned in the last slide at positions in which they already lost personnel due to the draft and/or graduation. A few names to keep an eye on during the 2016 season is four-star Zach Smith who can earn a starting gig in 2017 as Russell is on par to graduate.

Defensive tackle Bravvion Roy along with linebacker Deonte Williams and defensive backs Raleigh Texada and Chris Miller are the important names to closely monitor as the coaching staff will have to lean on the incoming freshmen a little more than they probably intended to.
