Vinny Testaverde . 32. player. 48. At first impulse many football fans will scoff a the idea Vinny Testaverded belongs on this list. After all the guy threw 272 interceptions in his career, fourth-most in NFL history. With that said, it’s easy to forget that upon closer inspection he had a very good career. Granted, it wasn’t good all the time but there were significant stretches of it where Testaverde was one of the better quarterbacks in the league.

A two-time Pro Bowler in 1996 and 1998, he led two different teams to the playoffs and got the New York Jets to an AFC championship. Then there is the fact that he played until the spry age of 44. Those are some pretty impressive accomplishments in the grand scheme of things. He didn’t win a championship, that’s true but given the franchises he played for during his best years (Tampa Bay, Cleveland, the Jets) it’s not a big surprise. He wasn’t one of the greats but he was a good player for a lot of years who showed flashes of great when the winds blew the right way.
. QB. Miami (Fl.)
