Sometimes the greatest seasons, games or moments in NFL history come down to one bold move a team is willing to make.

They can yield ultimate glory, or heart wrenching defeat.  Either way it’s important to recognize why those gutsy calls were made:  the unending pursuit of winning.

Every single franchise across the league has made a gutsy call that changed the course of their fortunes.  A singular decision the decided the fates of coaches, players and even entire organizations.  For some it was a simple play call, for others it was a big trade and still more did it with an unexpected draft pick or other roster move that met with huge surprise at the time.

This list will focus on all 32 teams and what their most gutsy decisions of all-time were, making sure to include context for why they were made and of course what ending results came to pass.
