Wildcard: Arizona Cardinals

Arizona won their division last season, and they might win it this year as well.  The Seahawks and Cards will be in a tight race for the NFC West title in 2016, but the Seahawks will most likely come out on top.  That being said, Arizona will still make the playoffs in the wildcard slot.

The Cardinals had an impressive season in 2016, with a 13-3 record and stellar play on both sides of the ball.  Their draft didn’t result in any flashy selections, but they filled key areas of need with skilled players.  Arizona will give Seattle a run for their money in the race for the NFC West crown, and  may end up on top.  Both teams are very talented, and Arizona may barely slip to the wildcard position.

Wildcard: Green Bay Packers

Green Bay still houses one of the most talented QBs in the NFL with Aaron Rodgers.  Jordy Nelson comes back this season from injury, and Eddie Lacy has reportedly dropped the weight that slowed him down in 2015.

The Packers used several draft picks to shore up their defense and add depth.  They also added talent to their offensive line through the draft.  Green Bay didn’t make a huge splash in free agency, but they re-signed key playmakers, including kicker Mason Crosby.  The Packers are still a powerhouse in the NFC, and still more than capable of a playoff run.
