NFC North: Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings claimed their division crown last season, and this year they are capable of the same dominant play.  A surging young quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater, a talented veteran running back in Adrian Peterson, and a powerhouse defense all helped to spell success for the Vikings last season.

Bridgewater has a reliable option in rookie Stefon Diggs, but needed variety and options at the receiving position.  Minnesota drafted WR Laquon Treadwell in the first round of the NFL Draft this year, an explosive receiving option for their developing quarterback.

With a slew of talent on offense and a defense that was top in the NFL last year, the Vikings stand to make a significant playoff push.  Minnesota’s division also includes the ever-competitive Packers, who should make a playoff run of their own in 2016.  Though the two teams may remain in a close race for much of the season, Minnesota’s fresh, young talent will come out on top in the NFC North.
