Week 2: at Houston Texans

In Week Two, the Chiefs will return to the scene of their 30-0 Wild Card victory in the 2015 playoffs against the Texans. The festivities of the playoff game swung in the Chiefs favor on the opening kickoff with RB Knile Davis taking the opening kick 106 yards to the house to go up 7-0. Luckily for Kansas City, Houston placed their offense in the hands of Brian Hoyer at QB. Hoyer made things quite easy for the Chiefs as he tossed four interceptions.

Now things are different. Houston has, what they hope at least, a better option at QB in Brock Osweiler. No longer will you see Arian Foster as the lead back and that role now goes to versatile running back Lamar Miller. Add in the two speedy rookie wide receivers Will Fuller and Braxton Miller along with their elite wide-out in DeAndre Hopkins, and you have an offense that has the makings to be lethal. I haven’t even mentioned the talents of DE JJ Watt.

I don’t expect another 30-0 beat down by the Chiefs. Houston should be better in 2016 and this tussle between the two teams will be very intriguing.
