So many head coaches, so little time. Here is a breakdown of the best coaches in each AFC division.
The head coach. On some occasions, he’s a genius. A mastermind whose blueprint to consistent success paid off and pleased the front office, the players, and the fans. Whether their direction leads to Super Bowl trophies or just consistent winning records is a different story on it’s own, but a head coach that wins is always appreciated.
On the other hand, a head coach can be a plague in the eyes of fans and at times, in the eyes of his own players as well. A handpicked selection that led to losses, embarrassment, and a constant search for the “right one”.
So as we settle into a lengthy offseason, let’s stir the pot a little and have an interesting discussion. Who is the best head coach in each division? This will be a thorough evaluation. It won’t be limited who has the most rings, the most wins, or who has the best interviews (Belichick wins by far). Instead, I’m going throw the championship factor, amount of wins, consistency, as well as player evaluation all in one bowl, mix it quite well, and present an end result. I will also include a runner-up as a few of these divisions have some great candidates.
Ultimately, this will probably upset a particular fan base or two, which will probably hurt my chances for receiving a pleasant Christmas card. Let’s dive right in.
