There are so many things that go into great NFL quarterbacks because they can be so different, but if one were to create the “perfect” specimen, what features would he have?
In order to best convey this idea, this will involve taking key attributes from other great quarterbacks around the league. One key note in the title is that only active quarterbacks will be involved. So no Peyton Manning, who just retired, no John Elway, no Joe Montana, no Roger Staubach and no Sammy Baugh. This will be a modern era quarterback constructed from the best of the modern game.
Sounds like some sort of crazy Frankenstein experiment right? Well, if fans wanted an inside look to what NFL coaches pine for at the quarterback position, which is perfection, then it’s important to do such things so people can better understand how rare anybody even close that framework is.
