There’s going to be a lot of scrutiny when it comes to the Cleveland Browns and what they can do on the field. However, before the draft and through the off-season there were reports that the Browns weren’t a “talented” football team. I disagree. While the product has yet to be put together, and that is now Hue Jackson’s job, there was plenty of talent that played on the field last year.

The common perception of talent is, who in the last year performed to an elite level during the season? Many will disregard positive performances by players if it’s not on a consistent basis. For the Browns, that notion should be changed as they dealt with many injuries and required new players to play during spot times in the season. There wasn’t an Amari Cooper or Marcus Peters in Cleveland but there were players who deserve a shout out for showing their potential and/or for possibly being the future.
