Eric Graham (FR)

Described as a ‘plant-and-go’ runner, Graham could figure into the rotation this year if injuries arise or if the Hawkeyes feel good enough about his development to push him up the depth chart after the summer.

The youngsters for Iowa are going to have to earn their way to offensive snaps via special teams. The Hawkeyes are deep at the RB position, but like usual, Ferentz will probably redshirt a couple and keep another one active or at least have one picked and ready to pull the redshirt, just in case of emergency.

This is a solid group for Ferentz, as usual. I don’t know if you could compare the depth they have this year to what they had last year with the veteran Canzeri in the fold, but expanded roles for both LeShun Daniels and Akrum Wadley has to sound good to Hawkeyes fans, with Derrick Mitchell Jr. coming up as the team’s third back.
