
With Marcus Mariota intrenched as the franchise quarterback in Tennessee, the clock was ticking for quarterback Zach Mettenberger. He showed flashes of potential, but was obviously no match for the second overall pick Mariota. The sixth round pick out of LSU saw the field 14 times since being drafted in 2014, but was released Monday morning prior to OTAs.

In those 14 games, Mettenberger has 2,347 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. They aren’t numbers that will blow you away, but there is some strong points.
