Washington Redskins (6-10)

Biggest Strength:  Wide Receiver

Part of Kirk Cousins having so much success last season was because he had reliable targets at his disposal.  Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson and Jamison Crowder offer plenty of playmaking skill.  That should only grow with the arrival of 1st round pick Josh Doctson.  He will provide an element of size at 6’3″ along with natural hands and knack for highlight reel catches.

Biggest Weakness:  Defensive Line

Eight times in the 2015 season the Redskins defense allowed at least 140 yards rushing.  That was their glaring weakness in the ugly playoff lost to Green Bay as they surrendered 205.  Part of the reason was not having the most imposing defensive line.  It doesn’t look like its gotten better since.  Jason Hatcher and Terrance Knighton are both gone, just Chris Baker as the only proven starter.

Final Record Reason

Washington was 9-7 last season and a big reason for that was their schedule.  Nine of their opponents finished 2015 with a losing record.  None of their victories came against a team with a winning record.  Chances are the NFC East will be better this season and the schedule won’t be nearly as kind.
