Indianapolis Colts (4-12)

Biggest Strength:  Andrew Luck

The long-term health concerns are valid, but Andrew Luck is still one of the best, young quarterbacks in football.  Indianapolis has also made a bigger investment in his offensive line, which should help in the most vital area of pass protection.  Luck has shown he can carry the team to victory when he’s not running for his life.  Time will tell if they’ve done enough.

Biggest Weakness:  Pass Rush

Another year, another head-scratching decision by the Colts brass to not trying finding more help for their pass rush.  This is a defense that has just 35 sacks in 2015 with their leaders being Kendall Langford and Robert Mathis.  Each had seven.  Mathis will be 35 this year as well.  For a unit that ranked 26th overall, not fixing that problem should only lead to bigger problems.

Final Record Reason

Not even great quarterbacks can stop the disintegration of a team that is too old and too depleted in too many areas.  That Colts defense needs a serious revamping and it’s hard to say the offense is much better given they still have no definitive solutions at running back and lost tight end Coby Fleener to free agency.  The general feeling is this team has not gotten better.
