Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White are poised to teach the NFL a lesson in 2016, and their offensive coordinator can’t contain his excitement.
One of the most highly anticipated parts of the 2016 season for the Chicago Bears is getting a chance to see how the new offense will look under Dowell Loggains. Promoted from quarterbacks coach, he will take over for the departed Adam Gase and hopes to continue the progress the unit showed, particularly in regards to the passing game. Loggains wasn’t shy stating what he’s most excited about either.
Loggains on Jeffery & White: "I can't wait to get them both on the field at the same time, something we've never seen in Chicago." #Bears

Indeed the greatest anticipation among fans is to finally see how good Kevin White is and by extension how dangerous he and Alshon Jeffery can be together. The hype going into the draft last year on White was extensive. He was a 6’3″ body that could run a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash. Size and speed with a the work ethic born of climbing his way up from junior college.
Team that with the equally big, sure-handed Jeffery and it presents the worst kind of dilemma for defenses. Double cover one and it instantly leaves the other on an island with a corner whom they can beat in a jump ball situation or even beat over the top. Loggains has ever reason to feel excited about what those two can do for the Chicago Bears offense.
Aside from their own individual abilities, there’s also the cascade effect in could have on others. Eddie Royal, Zach Miller and the running game won’t have to worry about seeing extra defenders shifted to stop them, leading to more playmaking opportunities. That was the very reason Ryan Pace drafted White. If the two young receivers can stay healthy, there is no limit to how high they can carry that offense.
