The Cincinnati Bengals drafted a diverse class in 2016. They used their first five picks to add depth to their secondary, linebackers, receiving, offensive line and defensive line.

Cincinnati’s receiving core will look much different next season.  Both Marvin Jones (now in Detroit) and Mohamed Sanu (now in Atlanta) left in free agency this off season and Brandon LaFell was signed to a one-year contract. Jones and Sanu combined for over 1,000 receiving yards in 2015. Cincinnati drafted receivers with two of their seven picks.

A.J. Hawk’s contract with the team was terminated in April after a career-low 24 tackle season in 2015. Cincinnati drafted a linebacker, Nick Vigil from Utah State, with their third-round pick in an attempt to bring youth to their front seven.

  • William Jackson III, CB Houston
  • Tyler Boyd, WR Pittsburgh
  • Nick Vigil, ILB Utah State
  • Andrew Billings, DT Baylor
  • Christian Westerman, G Arizona State
  • Cody Core, WR Mississippi
  • Clayton Fejedelem, S Illinois

Cincinnati was all over the board with their 2016 draft selections. Let’s take a closer at the players they drafted.
