The Jacksonville Jaguars had been linked to UCLA LB Myles Jack for a while leading up to the draft, however his knee injury has dropped his stock. Instead, they take one of, if not the top prospect in the draft in Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey.

According to our NFLMocks scouting report says Ramsey can bring to his new team.

"Jalen Ramsey is my #1 rated player for the 2016 NFL Draft. Usually safeties don’t get looked at in the top five but this is not just your everyday ordinary safety. Ramsey has the potential and the ability to be the best safety in football for a long time. He has Brian Dawkins like intensity with Ed Reed like talent at safety, that is someone I would consider taking in the top five.A team who is trying to find an identity on their defense is going to fall in love with Jalen Ramsey. He should be a NFL All-Pro by his second or third year and be the cornerstone of a defense for a long time."
