57. Remember what the stigma was regarding Adrian Amos coming into the 2015 draft? Great athlete with instincts and range but looked too thin and didn’t play physical. Turns out that wasn’t the case. So why should the Bears be afraid of drafting another talented young safety with size, speed and ball skills who just happens to be a little thinner than normal?

That is the argument holding back Justin Simmons in the eyes of many, which is hard to understand. The Boston College safety is always around the football. He’s intercepted the best quarterbacks in college and has shown on more than one occasion that he can play a physical brand of football. At 6’2″ he should have enough of a frame to add more muscle in order to quiet these concerns about being too thin. Otherwise there is no doubt he can and should become a starter in the NFL.
.
