Stephane Nembot started all 13 games his senior season with Colorado and finished second on the team with 25 pancakes. He started six games on the right side of the line and seven on the left side.
He was invited to and played in the East-West Shrine Game, and the CU coaches presented him with the team’s Offensive Trench Award as the team’s top offensive lineman.
In his sophomore and junior seasons he started all 24 possible games at right tackle and racked up 92 pancakes.
Nembot majored in both International Affairs and Ethnic Studies, with a minor in Business, earning his degree in December 2015. Before going to Colorado, he lived in California where he was ranked the 49th overall prospect in the state as a defensive end by ESPN. He was born and lived in Douala, Cameroon.

Strengths:
Uses his big hands to his advantage, has good punch. Has the athletic ability and speed to be a capable run blocker in space. Only had one holding, and one false start penalty called on him in 2015, doesn’t draw penalties. Three year starter, has experience at tackle on both sides of the ball so he offers versatility. Every season he gave up less sacks (six in 2013, to 4.5 in 2014, to three in 2015). He’s show improvement in all-aspects of his game each season he has played and started.
Weakness:
He has a lean frame for such a big guy. Only played offensive line for four years, while he started for three of those he is still a project. Poor body control, ended up on the ground more than he should. Needs to improve on his pass pro, got bullied by speed rush. Not strong enough to fight off the bull rush either, was put on skates in pass situations. Needs to improve his footwork in run blocking.
Overview:
Nembot is a project, but his size and flashes of good play make him worth a late round pick. The fact that he has only played offensive line for a few years also helps his case to be drafted or picked up since he is still in the process of learning. I mean, who wouldn’t want a 6’7″ 322lbs. lineman who could be useful in the future?
