When did you know you wanted to be a football player?

As long as I can remember. Once I understood the game at the age of seven, it’s all I’ve ever wanted to become.

Where did your love for football develop?

As a kid playing with my friends and also in my YMCA league as a 10-year-old – I would say it grew from there.

Who was your favorite team growing up?

I was always a big Chargers fan growing up. Most kids around me loved the Seahawks so it was a little strange that I was always a Chargers fan.

Which team would you most like to play for?

It doesn’t matter – I will play for anyone.

What is your biggest motivation through this whole process?

Just chasing my dream everyday – it’s exciting to know that I can make a career out of the game I love.

Who is your favorite NFL player, active or retired?

Being a chargers fan I was always a huge LaDaininan Tomlinson guy.

Is there a coach who’s had a strong impact on your life and career?

Yes, every coach has had an impact on my life. If I had to pick one, I would say my high school coach Bill Diedrick.

If football doesn’t work out, what’s your plan for life?

I have a degree in business marketing so I would try to find a job in advertising that would hopefully relate to sports. I would love to continue in the field of sport somehow.

What is your biggest strength as a player?

My ability to stay level-headed – I never get too high, never get too low depending on the moment.

What is your biggest weakness as a player?

I would say my lack of experience with some of the technical aspects of my position, but I’m learning every day.

What was the strangest question you have been asked by an NFL team?

Nothing too crazy for me. But I was asked how I would make 48 cents out of six coins.

Have you had much contact with NFL teams and what projections are they giving you?

I’ve talked to every team in one fashion or another and I haven’t asked anyone about projections.

What has the entire Draft process been like for you?

It’s been exciting and really busy. I’ve stayed in the moment so I can appreciate the ride.

Talk about your experience at the NFL Combine

It was a grind of a week – I’m definitely glad that I was able to have that experience in my life.
