9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If there was any part of the defense that was a major culprit in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers falling apart like they did down the stretch last season, it was their secondary.  Poor coverage and tackling was rampant and is something they can’t allow to continue if they want to take on those dynamic passing attacks in the AFC South.  Vernon Hargreaves is so much their kind of guy. <p> </p> <p>Few can argue he’s perhaps the most complete corner in the draft.  He’s fast and aware in coverage, showing good hands and vision to find the football and take it away.  Perhaps his greater strength though is his tackling.  Hargreaves flies to the football and gets ball carriers on the ground with efficient regularity.  His 5’10” size won’t matter as much in their style of defense and he might bring an edge to their perimeter that they have had since Ronde Barber retired.</p>.
