With the top offensive linemen all gone, the Indianapolis Colts know they can’t afford to reach at that position, so the next best thing is for them to fix another area that has given them problems.  Ever since Chuck Pagano switched them to a 3-4 scheme, they’ve had a hard time finding an outside linebacker with the capability to become a true pass rusher they could build around. <p> </p> <p>His numbers at Georgia were modest, but in terms of skill set and physical parameters Leonard Floyd looks every bit the part.  He’s an excellent athlete, having played every linebacker position in college, showing the ability to drop in coverage.  However, it’s his knack for creating pressure that will appeal to Indy.  Speed and agility are his strengths, along with long arms and quickness.  At present he is more of a finesse rusher, lacking a power element.  So until he bulks up the coaches may have to use him for just certain situations.</p>.
