The Cleveland Browns are among the most depleted rosters in the NFL at this point and they know it.  The only way they can get back into the fray sooner than later is if they stockpile as many draft picks as possible.  That’s why they trade back yet again from #8 to grab an extra 2nd round pick from Tennessee.  The more potentially good players they can get, the better. <p> </p> <p>Adding somebody like Jack Conklin makes perfect sense for them.  Not only is he one of the best left tackles in the class, he’s also one of the most experienced.  That means he should be able to play right away if asked, and the Browns likely will.  What he might lack in elite athleticism he makes up for in work ethic, sound technique, power and nastiness.  Conklin plays every snap with consistent effort and isn’t slowed by nagging injuries.  He will hold up his end of the bargain and be a welcome help to their running game.</p>.
