SO much has changed just in the space of half a week that almost every 2016 NFL mock draft was rendered completely useless.

One must work with the speed of frenzy just to get one finished before something else big happens and requires a complete reset. Thankfully this latest three-round endeavor absorbs all the latest news, including the pending results of the Josh Norman sweepstakes with under a week before the draft is set to begin.

How does your team fare?

1. Los Angeles Rams (via TEN)

QB. Cal. Jared Goff . 1. player. 51. Carson Wentz may have more physical upside than Jared Goff, but he doesn’t have the experience, proven production or one other key factor. Goff is a California kid. He was born there, went to school there and became a star there. Who better to get the Rams off the ground in Los Angeles than one of the state’s own homegrown talents? It’s central casting and so perfect.

Beyond that there’s the simple reality he’s a good player. Goff has size and arm strength to his advantage, can be quite precise with his passing when allowed to set his feet. His release is quick, which is why it’s often difficult to sack him. Given the numbers he put up despite such limited protection or weapons around him, it’s no wonder the Rams feel confident they can win with him. He’ll have a solid line, some decent receivers that boast a mix of speed and size, and of course an emerging star at running back in Todd Gurley.
