4. Dallas Cowboys

At the end of the day the Dallas Cowboys are a team that won’t be kowtowed into doing what others want. They’ve earned a reputation the past few drafts for going at the best players on their board rather than key roster needs. So while pass rusher and quarterback top the list of holes to fill, they can’t justify passing on a linebacker talent like Myles Jack who is such a perfect fit for their defense.

The kid may not be making any friends with his pre-draft workout routines but there is no denying the tape. He is a freak athlete for his position, with the size of a classic weakside linebacker but the speed of a safety. He flies around the field, can come downhill to make tackles and shows little to no problem flipping his hips and dropping into coverage. Tight ends and running backs will find he’s not the mismatch they were hoping for. Put him in the hands of Rod Marinelli and enjoy the show.
.
