12. New Orleans Saints

Shaq Lawson . 12. player. 15. With all the quarterbacks off the board, the New Orleans Saints decide to stick with their assumed game plan of continue to improve their defense, which was again among the worst in the league in 2015. Bolstering the pass rush tops the list, with Cameron Jordan being their only proven option at present. Finding somebody to line across from him would really get things going.

Shaq Lawson is an interesting name. His power and size say he can play defensive end but his athleticism and explosion would indicate he might make a successful move to outside linebacker. What it may come down to is his length. There is no disputing Lawson has the power and finesse to become a consistent, effective rusher but he doesn’t have the longest arms. That could restrict him to just one position, so the Saints will have to make sure it’s the right one.
.
