It should be no surprise that an updated 2016 NFL mock draft is required after that blockbuster trade between the Rams and Titans.

Suffice to say the overall impact on the entire 1st round alone is staggering. Several teams maneuver to spots they haven’t in the past and a mad scramble ensues for several key players. Who among them gets the benefit of a helpful bounce and who suffers from the sudden change in winds? Have a look at the mayhem to find out.

1. Los Angeles Rams (via TEN)

1. player. 51. Jeff Fisher and the Los Angeles Rams aren’t playing around anymore. After enduring years of ineptitude at the quarterback position, they can’t afford to take chances anymore. They need to get their guy under center now before the strong, young roster they’ve built begins to fall apart. So they delivered a treasury of picks to Tennessee in order to ensure they get their guy.

It’s hard to imagine it being anybody other than Carson Wentz. The North Dakota State quarterback has had the best pre-draft of any of the prospects at his position. He’s physically gifted with size, mobility, a strong arm and boasts a winning edge after two FCS national titles. All signs indicate he’s a smart kid, competitive and understands the nuances of running a pro offense. He’s the best blend of talent and development in this class. Being able to practice against that great Rams defense should prepare him for the NFL rather quickly.
. QB. North Dakota State. Carson Wentz
