The Chicago Bears face a daunting question of whether or not they should spend their top draft choice on a quarterback.
With Jay Cutler having done enough last season to quiet the cries for him to be removed as starting quarterback of the Bears, many have since gone on to say this development removes any thoughts of taking a quarterback with the 11th overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
#Bears have not selected a quarterback in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft since taking Rex Grossman in the 1st round in 2003.

At the same time there are others who support the idea. For one, Cutler is turns 33-years old this month and has not made it through a full season healthy since 2009 On top of that, expectations are that the Bears won’t be selecting anywhere near the top 10 in the seasons to come. Thus wouldn’t it be prudent to go after their quarterback of the future now while they’re in position to do so?
Answering that question may depend on the players involved. Are any of them good enough to fit the “best player available” tag that GM Ryan Pace holds to? In order to formulate a possible answer, perhaps it’s best to review the top candidates involved and where they stand.
