Akron. Jatavis Brown . 194. player. 28. The reason Brown drops this far isn’t because of athleticism or play speed. He’s got plenty of both and the production to back up the belief he can function on all three downs as a tackler and in coverage. What people aren’t sure about is his position. He’s got the run defending prowess of a linebacker but the speed of a safety. His size at 5’11” makes him somewhat of a tweener. There is no question he can play, it’s just a matter of whether the Raiders coaching staff can determine where.. OLB

Missouri Western. Mike Jordan . 234. player. 28. Jack Del Rio and Ken Norton Jr. like their corners bigger and with good ball skills. In that regard Mike Jordan fits the profile. He’s 6’0″ tall and boasts a wide receiver background, which led to plenty of big plays in coverage. The sticking point will be whether he has enough speed to handle NFL receivers in man coverage..
