127. player. 57. It’s surprising that Sean Davis isn’t getting more attention. He’s one of those cornerback/safety hybrid types that teams are growing a taste for these days. A player that plays an aggressive downhill style and isn’t afraid to tackle but also has the awareness, athleticism and speed to play coverage. Vic Fangio loves these types of players, especially ones with his type of 6’1″ frame.

The Bears seem to have found an answer at one of their safety positions with Adrian Amos. Now their goal must be to find somebody who can play next to him. Antrel Rolle wasn’t able to stay healthy last season and is approaching his mid-30s. Harold Jones-Quartey flashed some skill but suffered from consistency problems and is also somewhat undersized. Davis would fit in well with this scheme playing next to Amos on the back end.
. S. Maryland. Sean Davis
