New York Giants Mock Draft: Finding The Wing Man

Eli Manning, like any quarterback is only as good as the pass protection he gets in front of him.  Despite constant investments of solid draft picks on the offensive line, he continues to get hit too much.  Never mind the inability to establish a consistent ground game.  So New York continues adding pieces, this time at tackle. <p>One thing about Stanford players is they’re always very smart and well-coached.  Kyle Murphy is no exception.  His size and power made him a integral part of the Cardinals’ dominant ground attack in 2015 and he has enough athleticism and foot quickness to play tackle at the pro level.  The issue is a lack of functional strength and poor fundamentals in pass protection.  Both of those problems are correctable, but it might take a little time and patience.</p>.
