1st Round

11. player. 57. This might quietly be the best cornerback in the draft.  Where Vernon Hargreaves is too short and Eli Apple lacks instinct, William Jackson III suffers from neither problem.  He’s a 6’0″ corner who was a productive ball hawk at Houston and featured sub-4.4 speed, meaning he can run with just about any receiver in football.. CB. Houston. William Jackson III

2nd Round

57. He was probably a 1st round lock before his poorly-timed arrest for driving with a suspended license.  That might be just enough to knock him into the 2nd round.  At 6’6″, 310 lbs he’s a tremendous athlete for his size who is quick enough to create pressure on the passer and can more than hold his own as an anchor against the run.  Not yet the sum of his parts, but improving fast.. DE. Mississippi State. Chris Jones . 41. player

3rd Round

Ohio State. Nick Vannett . 72. player. 57. It’s been well-documented that the tight end class for 2016 lacks for talent and depth but there are still some good players out there with considerable upside.  Having traded Martellus Bennett, somebody like Nick Vannett would appeal to the Bears.  He too is a two-way player out of Ohio State, one with the size and power to block in the run game but also displays the athleticism and catch radius to be a serious factor in the passing game..
