Arizona Cardinals

Kansas City. Tamba Hali . 30. player. 32. This is exactly the kind of signing that Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals are known for. They have no reservations about taking veteran pass rushers as Dwight Freeney proved. Tamba Hali may not be the player he was a few years ago, but he still has some juice in the tank and is much more suited to 3-4 outside linebacker than Freeney was when he came in.

What it comes down to is how much they expect of him. Hali is 32-years old and has posted double digit sacks since 2013. They aren’t getting the dominant player he was. This is a signing that centers around managed snaps. By playing fewer minutes on the field, his legs will stay fresher late in the season, which is where the Cardinals had their problems. Minus the burden of full-time play, there is a chance Hali might surprise some people who think he’s used up.
.
