The long-term health of Andrew Luck is now a serious situation for the Colts.  Ensuring it is top priority, and that means better pass protection and opening up the ground.  That is done with improved blocking up front.  Alex Boone comes with experience, power, and dependability.  He’ll bring a physical edge to that front they haven’t had of late. <p> </p> <p>Most importantly it will give them a chance to fortify the entire front provided they go into the draft with similar goals.  If they can find even a decent right tackle, Luck may finally be able to execute an offense that opponent will fear.  Boone can have that kind of domino effect.  Having spent the past few years getting used to winning in San Francisco, he’ll be anxious to feel that again.  Protecting a franchise quarterback is the best avenue.</p>.
