Most would agree that this quarterback class has more questions than superstars. With Jared Goff and Carson Wentz leading the way, the rest of the pack is trying to pick up their stock wherever they can. Guys like Paxton Lynch, Connor Cook, and Christian Hackenberg are all floating around the first/second round mark and their performances at the NFL Combine will certainly be analyzed.

Mike Mayock said this class is full of guys like Kirk Cousins; someone who is drafted in the fourth round, won’t start right away, but with the right coaching can become and NFL starter. I completely agree (for once) with Mayock. There is potential in this years class, but most of it is untapped.

With a stronger class projected in 2017, NFL teams will have to decide whether to wait a year or take a chance now.
