The kid out of Cal is another guy analysts think could be the first quarterback taken in this years draft. He had to battle talk of small hands during his interviews and he reportedly showed off his knowledge in the classroom.

While he did not run particularly well or show off in the workouts, teams aren’t that concerned since it’s not a major part of his game. Goff ran a 4.82, had a QB worst 27 vertical, a 110 vertical, and a 7.17 3 Cone Drill. Lucky for him, his work isn’t all that concerned with jumping or sprinting down the field. He proved his worth in the throwing drills he showed accuracy, touch, a quick fluid throwing motion and the footwork that comes along with it.

He’s still the number one quarterback in my book and he helped show that in his drills.
