Jeremy Cash (S, Duke)

Adrian Amos was a welcome revelation for the Bears defense in 2015.  He’s the first drafted safety they’ve had in a long time who looks like a legitimate starter.  Now their job is a find somebody who can play next to him.  A name that is gaining popularity of late is Jeremy Cash of Duke.  He has that good size at 6’0”, 212 lbs and used every bit of it to make ball carriers pay.  Tackling and hitting are like second nature to him, which makes for an ideal strong safety.  What the Bears will want to know is whether he is fluid and athletic enough to at least not be a liability in coverage.

Landon Turner (OG, North Carolina)

That right guard spot in between Hroniss Grasu and Kyle Long was a sore area for the Chicago Bears most of the year.  Settling it down might be the last significant move they need to make on offense before next season.  A guy who would look quite good in that slot is Landon Turner.  The North Carolina product is a behemoth of a man at 325 with tremendous natural strength, making him a great run blocker.  However, like most lineman his size there are questions of conditioning and mobility.  The combine will be a great way to see where he is in both areas.
